Immigration Health Surcharge

Effective from 6 April 2015, any migrant from outside of the EEA coming to the UK for longer than 6 months will have to pay a health surcharge of £200 per year (£150 per year for students). This will be also applicable for those who require to extend their current visa in the UK.

The health surcharge will allow them to receive free NHS treatment while they are in the UK.
