Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid / Remote within the UK)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £37,500 per annum (gross, basic)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and organised Social Media Manager to manage and develop our digital presence across social media and online platforms. The role focuses on digital marketing, content creation, online engagement, and brand communications in support of the company’s marketing strategy.
This is a marketing and communications role and does not involve sales targets, business development, client onboarding, or the provision of immigration or legal advice.
The role will be performed on a hybrid basis within the United Kingdom, combining remote working with attendance at the company’s premises as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the following core activities:
Social Media Strategy and Management
Develop and implement a structured social media strategy aligned with the company’s branding and marketing objectives.
Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter and other relevant channels.
Maintain consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all digital platforms.
Monitor and manage social media accounts, responding to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
Content Creation and Website Support
Draft, edit, and update marketing and informational content for the company website, including articles and blog posts.
Prepare website and social media content in line with approved messaging, branding, and compliance guidelines.
Adapt website content for use across social media and digital campaigns.
Work with senior staff to ensure content accuracy and consistency prior to publication.
Community Engagement and Campaign Support
Support online community engagement through informative and brand-led content.
Assist with the promotion of announcements, events, and awareness campaigns via social media.
Manage culturally targeted or multilingual content where appropriate to support audience engagement.
Analytics, Reporting, and Optimisation
Monitor performance using social media analytics and reporting tools.
Use performance data to refine content strategies and improve online visibility.
Compliance and Brand Protection
Ensure all content complies with professional, regulatory, and internal brand standards.
Maintain records of social media activity and campaigns for internal compliance and audit purposes.
Identify and escalate reputational or compliance risks arising from online activity.
This role does not include:
Sales or revenue targets
Business development or lead conversion
Client onboarding or case handling
Fee discussions or contract negotiation
Provision of immigration or legal advice
Any enquiries generated through digital platforms are referred to the appropriate internal team.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Experience in social media management, digital marketing, PR, or communications
Written communication skills
Understanding of major social media platforms and content management tools
Ability to analyse performance data and optimise content accordingly
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Desirable
Experience drafting website articles or blog content
Familiarity with multilingual (preferably Russian, Turkish or Arabic) or culturally targeted content
Qualifications
University graduate in any field preferably in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
